aqueous Waller Creek program

The dance is happening all around you.
Breathe. Notice with all your senses. Look, feel, hear, smell, touch.

You are part of the dance.
Stand. Sit. Walk. Run. Dance. Stay still. All as you feel called.

We end the dance together.
Listen for the call. Gather. Add your voice.

Feel free to take photographs or short video clips. Please tag #aqueousdance and @blacklandbutohlab

aqueous is an ongoing site-adaptive dance performance with the intention of cultivating the attention of audience members to the sources and locations of water around us, including its seasonal, geologic, and geographic abundance and scarcity.

aqueous was originally created as part of the NatureMoves Dancing on the Edge facilitator training program. The development of the piece was supported by the Texas Woman's University Department of Dance. This performance is supported by Planet Texas 2050, a University of Texas at Austin Grand Challenge.
